Santa Ana / La Habra : Home Fix-Up Loans Are Available to Some
About $400,000 in low-interest home improvement loans await residents from two neighborhoods in Santa Ana and La Habra.
The Santa Ana Neighborhood Housing Services Inc., a nonprofit organization that gets money from federal Housing Community Development Block Grant Funds, is looking for homeowners interested in fixing up their residences with the help of a low-interest loan.
In Santa Ana, the agency has $100,000 for residents in the westside Artesia-Pilar neighborhood, which is bordered by Bristol Avenue and Washington, Townsend and 1st streets, program coordinator Priscilla Headrick said.
In La Habra, the agency has $300,000 for homeowners in the area that is bordered by Idaho and Whittier streets, Harbor Boulevard and Lambert Road, executive director Glenn Hayes said.
