Senior citizens 60 or older will be charged 20% less for many cafeteria meals through a discount program beginning Friday at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood. The medical center will serve free dinners to senior citizens today to celebrate the start of the program. Under the program, dinner will be served at a discount from 4 to 7 p.m. during the week. On weekends, the 20% discount will be given for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seniors can obtain discount cards with proof of age from the hospital cafeteria cashier, the hospital front lobby or at various service organizations and churches in the area, a hospital spokesman said.
