1st Catholic Puerto Rican Bishop Installed in U.S.

WASHINGTON —
The first U.S. Roman Catholic bishop from Puerto Rico was installed Sunday at a colorful service attended by three cardinals, dozens of bishops and hundreds of priests. Auxiliary Bishop Alvaro Corrada del Rio, 43, is to spend much of his time in his new Washington archdiocese assignment working with Latinos.
