Truck Bomb Blast in Tehran Injures 30

LONDON —
A bomb planted in a pickup truck injured at least 30 people in a southwestern district of Tehran on Sunday, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported.
The agency, monitored here, said the blast damaged 16 cars and broke windows within a radius of 150 yards. Two of injured were reported in critical condition.
Rescue workers rushed to the scene, and the agency said a crowd of onlookers shouted slogans condemning “agents of the United States who are believed to have planted the bomb.”
