A new hearing was called in the Hutton case.
The Connecticut Banking Department, which is in the process of deciding whether E. F. Hutton can continue to do business in the state, scheduled a new hearing for Oct. 7. The hearing was ordered by Deputy Banking Commissioner Howard B. Brown, newly appointed to the case, who reviewed testimony in the mail and wire fraud case and decided that he needed more information.
