W. German Stunt Pilot Killed as Plane Stalls

MILLAU, France —
West German stunt pilot Joachim Krenz, leader in the open class of the Ultra Light Motor flying world championship, died Friday after crashing his plane in competition.
Krenz’s tiny aircraft stalled while making a sharp turn at about 500 feet, then plummeted to earth.
The accident occurred during a precision-landing competition.
