Eight persons died when a Bar Harbor Airlines plane crashed in Maine, near the Auburn-Lewiston Airport, police said. The Beechcraft 99 jet crashed about a half-mile from the airport, which is 30 miles north of Portland. “We have eight fatalities,” Auburn Police Lt.
