Israeli Schools to Get Sharpshooting Teachers
JERUSALEM —
Israel’s Education Ministry is organizing shooting matches in an effort to improve the ability of teachers to fend off Palestinian guerrilla attacks, an education official said last week.
About 7,000 teachers are licensed to carry guns at work, Mordechai Shefer, who is in charge of school security, said.
