Cancellation of Sgt. York Weapon
In discussing the cancellation of the Sgt. York weapons system, Ullman states that the cost of the system ($4.8 billion) is “almost invisible” when compared to the $3 trillion that we’ll spend on defense.
Without discussing the merits of that amount, maybe $2 billion or $4.8 billion is just small change to Ullman and the Pentagon, but it’s a horrendous amount to those of us who support these people with our tax dollars.
I’m afraid this senior fellow at Georgetown University needs some experience in the real world. Maybe then the money he talks so glibly about will mean something to him.
