National Technical Systems Reports 11% Rise in Sales

National Technical Systems, a Calabasas company that performs testing services primarily for the aerospace and defense industries, reported sales for its second quarter ended July 31 of nearly $6 million, up 11% from the corresponding quarter a year earlier.

Net income for the period was $22,000, contrasted with a loss of $333,000 for the same period in 1984.

For the six months ended July 31, sales were $12.1 million, up 16% from a year earlier. Net income for the period was $192,000, contrasted with a loss of $335,000 a year ago.
