About 2,300 General Dynamics Corp. workers stayed off their jobs at the nation’s largest Army combat tank assembly plant in Lima, Ohio, in spite of a tentative agreement on a new union contract to be considered Wednesday. Later in the day, a judge ordered the workers to halt picketing at the plant. The walkout by members of United Auto Workers Local 2075 was not sanctioned by the union, and General Dynamics spokesman William Sheil said the company would seek an injunction to stop it.
