More citrus canker was found in Florida.

Discovery of the disease in a second commercial grove and a 14th tree nursery brought to 16 the number of sites infected by the bacteria that threatens the $2.5-billion citrus industry, Florida agriculture officials said. The incurable, tree-killing disease was confirmed at a grove near Bradenton and at a nursery near Avon Park. The previous canker finding in a nursery was at one owned by Coca-Cola’s foods division in Highlands County on Sept. 16.
