Burn Care International, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for reconstructive surgery for burn victims, research and education, is attempting to sell about 2,000 tickets to a Los Angeles Dodgers game on Tuesday. According to Fred Jameson, president of the Woodland Hills-based group, a Boston firm that was to buy the tickets decided two weeks ago not to. Jameson said the tickets cost $5 each and that one dollar of the purchase price goes to the group. Jameson noted that Burn Awareness Week begins Sunday and that Tuesday is Burn Awareness Night at the Dodgers game.
