Los Angeles City Hall offices had a couple of broken doors and two broken windows to show for the weekend Street Scene festival, but no city property was taken, Assistant General Services Director Brookes Treidler said. An inside art exhibit was closed Saturday afternoon when people began gaining access to upper floors and collecting on a fifth-floor roof. A ground floor window also was broken in City Hall East. The minor damage apparently was the result of people trying to get better views of the festivities and to use restrooms, Treidler said. He said the damage was minimal considering the size of the event, which attracted more than 1 million people.
