Fire Causes Unscheduled Landing of Cocaine Flight

BAY MINETTE, Ala. —
Fire aboard a twin-engine airplane loaded with 1,300 pounds of cocaine apparently forced the pilot to abandon the craft Friday at a rural airport, federal agents said. Authorities said the Mitsubishi-built MU-2 plane landed about 2 a.m.
