Task Force to Revise Form for Tract Application

Share

The formation of a task force to review and revise the Department of Real Estate subdivision application forms, has been announced by Real Estate Commissioner James A. Edmonds Jr.

He said an orientation meeting of the task force was held recently in Sacramento and the first phase of the project is already under way.

California Real Estate Law generally requires subdivision developers to apply for and obtain a final subdivision public report from the Department of Real Estate. The task force will attempt to find an acceptable means of reducing the number of inquiries necessary to obtain a clear understanding of a subdivision offering for disclosure to purchasers.
