Seoul Asks North’s Aid in Retrieving Its Boat

The South Korean Red Cross asked the Communist authorities in Pyongyang Tuesday to help to secure the release of a fishing boat with a crew of 12 that was seized by a North Korean patrol vessel Sunday.

South Korean Red Cross chief Kim Sang Hyup sent a message to Son Song Pil, chief of the North Korean Red Cross, asking for assistance in the return of the fishermen from the 86-ton Keyong No. 2.
