More than 100 faculty members of the UCLA College of Letters and Science have agreed to participate in a new Student Research Program that enables undergraduate students to work individually with senior faculty members, much like graduate students do.
“The opportunity to work directly with faculty on research projects can make an enormous difference in the quality of a student’s undergraduate education,” said Helen Astin, the associate provost who will supervise the program.
