Local News in Brief : Management Review Begins of Burbank Redevelopment Panel
- Share via
The Audit Committee of the Los Angeles County Grand Jury has begun a management review of the Burbank Redevelopment Agency as part of a routine examination into the redevelopment affairs of local governments, Burbank officials said.
City Manager Robert (Bud) Ovrom said the review is not a criminal investigation, but an examination into the operations and finances of the agency.
“We look upon it as a very positive review, and they are regarding it in the same way,” Ovrom said. “They have decided to do this kind of examination to three cities a year. Last year, they examined Los Angeles, Alhambra and the City of Industry. Now it’s our turn.”
