Rival Israeli Protests Held

Israel’s dovish Peace Now movement and thousands of ultra-nationalists pressing for faster Jewish settlement of captured Arab land staged rival demonstrations outside the prime minister’s office Monday night. Several hundred police kept the two groups apart.
