Francesco Paterno has been appointed trade commissioner of Italy in Los Angeles, heading a major U.S. office of the Italian Foreign Trade Institute with jurisdiction over 20 Western states and U.S. territories. He succeeds Mario Castagna, who was reassigned to New York after seven years in Southern California.
