San Diego-based ISSCO on Wednesday reported a 17% jump in net income for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, to $1.4 million, on revenues of $11.2 million, up 26%.
For the nine months, earnings rose 27% to $2.4 million on revenues of $27.5 million, up 27%.
The third-period earnings increase was the 10th consecutive quarter that ISSCO has reported improved profits.
Operating income was negatively affected by a $375,000 provision for potentially uncollectible contracts. That was nearly offset by a gain from foreign currency transactions of about $250,000, according to officials of the graphic software products maker.
