Orange Liqueur Adds Zip to Adam’s Spareribs

Mrs. T. Johnson’s spareribs, which are baked, have a touch of orange liqueur in the flavor for something different.

ADAM’S SPARERIBS

4 pounds spareribs

3 tablespoons orange curacao

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons vinegar

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1/4 teaspoon minced ginger

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Cut spareribs apart. Mix orange curacao, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger and pepper. Pour over spareribs and marinate 1 hour. Arrange ribs in shallow foil-lined pan. Bake at 375 degrees 1 1/2 hours, turning occasionally and basting with marinade. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
