IT’S BACK TO THE GYM FOR HEATHER

In a TV spot for Jack LaLanne’s health spas, Heather Thomas (“The Fall Guy”) tells viewers, “We’ve got it all for you!” Apparently, the gym hasn’t had it all for her. She’s told People magazine that she’s been a heavy user of cocaine and the diuretic Lasix for the last four years.

No matter. According to Raul Araluce, who directs the company’s advertising, Thomas will continue as spokeswoman for the spas.

“(Her confession) caught us completely off-guard,” Araluce told Outtakes. “But we’re very proud of what she’s done. She’s a very honest lady--we feel very confident that she’s cleaned up her act. Loyalty goes both ways, and she gives us 100%. We would rather she had said thanks to Jack LaLanne’s (in the interview), of course, but she didn’t.”

As to why she opted for a diuretic instead of the gym, he offered: “They wanted to keep her real slim for the show and there’s only so much body-building equipment and exercise can do.”
