EATON, Pa. — In a national art program that encouraged grade-school children to daydream and draw, the prevalent themes were scientific advancements, excellence in sports and ecology.
The “Dream-Makers” program, created by Crayola, centered around historical figures who dared to dream, and encouraged children to illustrate their own aspirations in artwork.
The program for 1 million children also has produced a national art exhibit that will tour the United States through 1986.
