Orange County’s Largest Office Project, Griffin Towers, Slated

The single largest office project in Orange County, Griffin Towers, two 12-story structures and a connecting three-story atrium, will be built at Hutton Centre, 46-acre master-planned business park within the South Coast Metro complex near the confluence of the San Diego and Newport freeways and MacArthur Boulevard and Main Street.

Upon completion, the $90-million project will have 570,000 square feet of space of which 548,000 square feet will be leasable, according to Roger Torriero, president of Griffin Realty Corp., codeveloper with Ahmanson Commercial Development Co.

Ground breaking is scheduled for next month on a seven-acre site purchased at a cost of $8.5 million from MacArthur Place Ventures. Herbert Nadel AIA & Partners is the architect, Keller Construction Co. is the contractor.
