December Move-ins Promised at Colton Tract Opening Today

Mariposa, a development of 198 single-family homes, opens today in Colton with 35 homes in the first phase.

Priced from $59,990 to $86,990, the homes are available with VA, FHA and bond financing.

Designed by Pekarek-Crandell Inc., the four floor plans are offered with two to four bedrooms, one or two stories, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths, wood-burning fireplaces, vaulted ceilings, ceramic tile counters in kitchens, tile roofs, textured stucco exteriors and 880 to 1,440 square feet of space.

John Laing Homes is developer of the project, which is expected to be ready for first move-ins in December. The sales office and models, decorated by Design I, are open daily, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 1007 Christobal Lane, reached from the Riverside Avenue exit of Interstate 10.
