Downey : District Trustees Approve 6.5% Salary Increases

The Downey Unified School District board of trustees approved a 6.5% salary increase for all certificated and classified management employees, psychologists, permit teachers, program specialists and confidential employees effective July 1, 1985.
The board also approved a 6.5% salary increase for the business manager and deputy superintendent effective Oct. 1, and for the Superintendent and assistant superintendent effective July 1.
