Fire Kills 7 in France

BARBEZIEUX, France — Fire swept through the geriatric wing of a hospital in southwest France on Wednesday, killing seven people and injuring 11, police said. The fire was thought to have started in the laboratory of the hospital, in the nearby town of Angouleme.
