Anaheim-based Applied Circuit Technology Inc. has acquired the spare parts inventory and rights to become the exclusive authorized factory representative for the Small Trident 14-inch computer disk drives produced by Century Data Systems, a Xerox Corp. subsidiary also based in Anaheim. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The disk drives are used in minicomputers and integrated systems produced for telecommunications companies, government and defense agencies and others requiring high levels of data processing capabilities.

Applied Circuit Technology will provide the disk drive services through its wholly owned subsidiary, ACT Magnetic Technology of Irvine, which supplies repairing and refurbishment services for personal and desktop computer disk drives and test systems used by disk drive manufacturers.
