Teachers’ Jobs Aren’t Easier Than Others’

Share

I suppose I should feel pity for Mr. Lowell’s lack of knowledge of the real world in education. Most of the teachers I know, myself included, put in a 50-hour week. The time we are actually with the children is but a small part of the work day. Many of us attend courses during the summer to improve our skills to serve our students better. Believe me, few are flocking to teaching to enjoy a posh life style and excessive retirement benefits!
