Infernal Machines
With respect to Petti Rados’ letter (Oct. 3), advocating abolition of “dust blowers,” I can only exclaim “How petty can you get?”
As a gardener, I use one of those “infernal machines” daily. Used properly, they are not dirty or messy. On the contrary, the machine is very fuel-efficient, energy-conserving and, most of all, saves the totally wasteful use of precious water for clean-up purposes. Furthermore, blowers save much time and money to all concerned.
