Terrorism and Legal Niceties
Price is right. Terrorism is war, and our legal niceties do not apply. Witness the brutal terrorism inflicted upon the people of Nicaragua by U.S.-supported contras and the mining of Nicaraguan harbors by CIA agents themselves. Take heart, Mr. Price, President Reagan has “junked some of our cherished concepts of law” by refusing to recognize World Court jurisdiction in Nicaragua’s action against this terrorism.
