Bhagwan’s Trial Slated Feb. 18

PORTLAND, Ore. —
A federal judge today set a Feb. 18 trial date for Indian guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and seven disciples charged with immigration fraud.
Assistant U.S. Atty. Robert C. Weaver said the government expects to call about 40 witnesses in the trial, which he predicted will last three to four weeks.
