China Wants to Train More Chefs
PEKING(Reuters) —
China’s Sichuan province, which produces the country’s spiciest cuisine, is starting a drive to produce more and better chefs.
The New China News Agency said 73 students have recently enrolled for three-year courses in cooking, nutrition, diet therapy and catering at a new cooking college--the first in China--at the Sichuan provincial capital of Chengdu.
