Lloyd’s of London is being investigated.

Britain’s judicial authorities reported that they are investigating allegations of fraud at two of Lloyd’s insurance syndicates. Solicitor-General Sir Patrick Mayhew told Parliament that the Director of Public Prosecutions has asked Lloyd’s to disclose information about the syndicates, which newspaper reports say have been involved in fraud. He did not disclose any details, but The Times has reported that the prosecutor has set up a fraud squad to investigate the affairs of the two syndicates, Peter Cameron-Webb and Alexander Howden.
