Share

Seven special awards and prizes in 26 categories in the California Landscape Contractors Assn.’s 30th Awards Program were presented at its annual convention in Incline Village, Lake Tahoe.

Chairman Wayne Du Boise said the 180 entries were the largest number ever in the history of the competition and that judges Dan Heiny and Tony Amato spent two months traveling the length of the state visiting each site before naming the winners.

The Sweepstakes Trophy went to Craig Pauley & Associates of Tustin for landscaping done at the Grumman residence in Newport Beach. That prize, sponsored by Pacific Sod, is given to the best overall entry.
