Foundation Establishes Fund to Honor the Memory of Longtime Volunteer
The Exceptional Children’s Foundation has established a memorial fund in memory of Frances Beckerman, a longtime volunteer who died Sept. 17.
Beckerman, who was 82, was the mother of two sons with developmental disabilities and for 34 years a volunteer for ECF, where she organized other volunteers to collect gifts for retarded clients at Lanterman, Fairview, Porterville and Camarillo state hospitals.
Contributions to the Frances Beckerman Fund may be sent to Exceptional Children’s Foundation, 3750 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Los Angeles 90008.
