HURTING FOR A ROLE

You’d think Farrah Fawcett would do special training for her role of victim-turned-tormentor in “Extremities,” shooting at an undisclosed location in the Valley. After all, she broke a wrist for the bruising role when she originated it Off-Broadway.

But it’s James Russo, as the would-be rapist, who spent two months in Gold’s Gym in “preventive training.” He hopes to avoid his experience on Broadway, where he broke three ribs and “fractured a pinkie.”

“The first time was like going into a fight without being prepared,” said the taciturn Russo. “This time, I worked out like an animal to get ready.”
