Monrovia : Weekly Bingo Games OKd

The Monrovia Unified School District Board of Education has voted 4 to 1 to allow bingo to be played one night a week from 6 to 10 p.m. at Santa Fe Middle School, 148 W. Duarte Road. The games will be sponsored by Monrovia Booster Bingo, a newly organized collection of Monrovia High School support groups, to raise funds for the school. Board member Martha Faith voted against the action because she said she is opposed to bingo.
