Dessert lovers will enjoy perusing the 100 mouthwatering color photographs included in the newest release from this Los Angeles author and cooking teacher. Who could better write a dessert cookbook than someone who admits she “can not--and will not--resist them.”

The more than 200 recipes range from cakes, tortes and pies to mousses, meringues and souffles. These have been tested by Sorosky, as well as amateur cooks. The chapter on garnishes and flourishes provides how-tos for presenting the recipes with an extra flair.
