Eleanor A. Montague has been appointed executive officer of the Council of the Claremont Colleges and vice president for administration and planning of Claremont University Center. Montague previously served as vice chancellor at the University of California, Riverside.

Tim Larsen of Diamond Bar has been appointed director of COMPNET, a health-care delivery network of the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona. Larsen previously served as administrator of Diamond Bar Medical Center.

Norman Dunn, director of the W. K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center at Cal Poly Pomona, has received the President’s Award from the International Arabian Horse Assn. Dunn has served as director of the center for 21 years.

Robert K. Scott of Shernoff & Levine in Claremont has been elected to the board of governors of the California Trial Lawyers Assn.

Barbara Booth of Walnut has been elected president of the Mt. San Antonio College Board of Trustees. Booth has served on the board for five years.
