Andropov Gets New Post

MOSCOW —
The son of the late Soviet leader Yuri Andropov has been appointed an ambassador-at-large and will work with Foreign Minister Eduard Shevardnadze, a ministry official said. The appointment of Igor Andropov, former ambassador to Greece, was made several weeks ago, the Foreign Ministry official said.
