3 Satellites Launched

MOSCOW —
The Soviet Union on Wednesday launched three satellites into orbit to monitor aircraft and ships, the official Tass news agency said. Cosmos 1710, 1711 and 1712 were launched from a one-booster rocket, the news agency said.
