Rome Airport Dead, Wounded Are Listed

Following is a preliminary list of those killed and wounded in Friday’s terrorist attack at Leonardo da Vinci Airport. The list was compiled by the Associated Press based on reports from the police, the Interior Ministry and area hospitals:

Natasha Simpson, 11, an American living in Rome; Frederick K. Gage, 29, Madison, Wis.; John Buonocore, 20, Wilmington, Del.; Don Maland, 30, New Port Richey, Fla.; Paternia Fotiadi, 24, Greece; Demetrio Arghiropoulos, 72, Greece; Adam Meletios, 58, Greece; Donato Miranda, 53, Mexico; Mustafa Diedda, 21, Algeria; Genoveva Jaime, 25, Mexico; an unidentified man between ages of 25 and 30; and three unidentified presumed terrorists.

A preliminary listing of the wounded included: Victor Simpson, 43, New York, who had been living in Rome; Michael Simpson, 9, an American who is also a resident of Rome; Charles Shinn, 69, Englewood, Colo.; Jeanne Shinn, Englewood, Colo.; Mark Maland, 37, Elizabeth City, N.C.; Jean Pollack, 21.; Kalber Weindorf, Austin, Tex.; Geoff Key, 78, California, no hometown given; Mike Sweis, Chicago.; Janet Sweis, 11, no hometown given; Sayel Sweis, 12, Chicago; Yulie Sweis, 6, Chicago; Sally Sweis, 8, Chicago.
