USIU Loses in Hockey to Manitoba, 8-4

Harry Mahood scored four goals and had one assist to lead the University of Manitoba past United States International University, 8-4, in a college hockey game Friday night at the Mira Mesa House of Ice.

Manitoba (13-8) led, 3-0, early in the game but trailed, 4-3, entering the third period. Manitoba outscored the Gulls, 5-1, in the third period for the victory. USIU (7-10) had five players score. Jeff Dobek had one goal and one assist for the Gulls.

The two teams meet again at 7:30 tonight at the Mira Mesa House of Ice.
