Two young Colombians were sentenced to four years in prison for possession for sale of almost $80 million worth of cocaine. Gustavo Velez, 21, and Rogelio Rivero, 24, received the maximum sentence from Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David Horowitz. The two pleaded guilty in late November to charges of possession in exchange for having conspiracy charges dropped. In November, police found 131 kilos of cocaine in a Marina del Rey apartment rented by the two men, along with $320,000 in cash.
