Gunde Svan of Sweden posted his 15th straight victory of the season by winning the 15-kilometer Monolithe cross-country ski race at Oslo, Norway.

The Swede’s winning time was 41 minutes 24.4 seconds. He was more than half a minute ahead of runner-up Oddvar Braa of Norway. Audun Endestad of Fairbanks, Alaska, placed sixth in 42:27.6.

Brit Pettersen of Norway won the women’s 6-kilometer race in 19:11.1, while Anne Jahren, also of Norway, was second in 19:21.3.
