Mormon Leader Leaves Hospital

SALT LAKE CITY —
Mormon Church President Ezra Taft Benson was released from a hospital today, his doctors convinced that a weekend fainting spell was caused by standing up too quickly to answer the telephone, a spokesman said.
Benson, 86, underwent two days of tests at LDS Hospital. “The evaluation over the weekend in the coronary-care unit disclosed no cardiovascular problems,” said the spokesman, Jerry Cahill.
