Egypt-Spain Plan to Build Warships Told

CAIRO —
Egypt and Spain, whose defense minister is currently visiting Cairo, plan to jointly produce warships and military trucks and are considering building a new tank, informed sources said Sunday.
Spanish Defense Minister Narcis Serra said he discussed boosting military cooperation between the two countries during talks earlier Sunday with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
He gave no details.
